American football- Swedish Championship finale 19th of September!

The Swedish Championships in American Football takes place in Karlstad on the 19th of September at 1 pm!

The game takes place at Tingvalla IP (a football court in an area called Tingvalla), home to the Carlstad Crusaders which is the Karlstad American football team.

About me

Hi!

My name is Sara Sundberg and I am a brand new member of the activity committee in ISAK. I have lived in Karlstad for just over a year, before that I've lived in Örebro which is about 1.5 hours from here. As you've probably figured out, I'm Swedish.

Teaching is my passion (too many hours spent watching “Dead Poets Society”, I know!) and I am just starting my third term here at KAU to become a history and social science teacher. Hobbies include partying (as all Swedes, right?), reading historical novels (yes, I’m a bit nerdy when it comes to history), hanging out with my awesome friends (and "my" lovely exchange students too of course, since I'm also a host), music (I’m the Spotify playlist-master) and everything else that’s fun.

During the summer I work as a language travel leader with EF in Great Britain, which is the most awesome summer job ever. That explains my very wannabe-posh British accent... I also have a job besides studying, as a substitute teacher at International English School here in Karlstad. Swedish, English and German are the languages I speak (with a poor German accent though).

I keep on track with everything that happens around town, so make sure you have your calendar ready!
